Welcome to Kid Connections of Huntley

Kid Connections of Huntley was founded on the basis of providing quality and developmentally appropriate therapeutic services to the local community.  As a Developmental therapist and a Child Life Specialist with over 20 years of experience working with children and families I believe in the power of play.  Children learn best if they are learning by doing and having fun while doing it.  Social connections between peers provide the foundation for kids to learn new skills.  Providing opportunities for children to interact and socialize is critical to their development.  

Kid Connections of Huntley believes in collaboration between families and communities.  The mission of Kid Connections is to provide a way for kids, families, and communities to connect.  As well as use play and education to help children and families work through challenging situations such as illness, trauma, or loss. Providing positive coping strategies and self-advocacy skills.
